This year Aussies have more reason to tune in to the world’s most famous endurance jetski race with the news that 2013 Australian Offshore Triple Crown and 2014 Australian endurance champion, Christian D’Agostin will be attacking the punishing 300 mile enduro in Pro Open on his Brisbane Jet Ski’s Kawasaki 310x.

For over a decade the Hot Products Mark Hahn Memorial Havasu 300 has represented the ultimate personal challenge to an ever increasing amount of international endurance racers eager to take victory laurels home from this, the world’s longest PWC race.
Forty-six teams are set to compete in the 11th annual Hot Products 2015 Mark Hahn Memorial 300 Race presented by Yamaha on Saturday.
The race is at Crazy Horse Campground on Lake Havasu and covers 300 miles over a 10-mile course with refueling happening during the race, like the LeMans endurance race. The race will happen rain or shine.
For the first time the Mark Hahn Memorial will be the first stop of a new world tour endurance series with the next race already set down for the Aug 11-16 in Vladivostok, Russia.
To be eligible for the generous purse offered in Russia, along with world bragging rights the racer must have competed and done well in the Hot Products Mark Hahn Memorial Havasu 300 February 28, 2015.
Yamaha WaterCraft is renewing its sponsorship of the 2015 Hot Products Mark Hahn Memorial Havasu 300 Endurance Race, the longest-running PWC endurance race in the world.
Now in its 11th year in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., the internationally-attended 300-mile race is considered one of the sport’s premier events and a favorite for Yamaha high-performance watercraft owners.
“The Hahn 300 is a top-tier PWC event in the U.S. that not only attracts the top professional racers in the sport, but it’s also open to novice riders looking for an exciting venue to test their skills,” said Andrew Cullen, digital marketing and communications manager for Yamaha’s WaterCraft Group. “The event aligns itself perfectly with Yamaha’s high-performance WaveRunners and the durability and reliability that the Yamaha brand is revered for.”
Slated for Feb. 28, 2015, and held annually at the Crazy Horse Campgrounds, the Mark Hahn Memorial Havasu 300 was created in memory of endurance racer Mark Hahn, who was instrumental in promoting endurance PWC racing across the country before his untimely death in 2004.
The “team” format allows two riders for runabout, or sit-down, teams and up to three riders for a stand-up watercraft. Solo riders are also welcome to “Ironman” the race on either style of watercraft, which is the ultimate test of endurance and stamina.
The Teams will be competing against each other while trying to break the 300 mile record of 4 hours 31 minutes 24 seconds set by the 2014 Mark Hahn Memorial Overall winner Craig Warner Monster Energy Team Kawasaki.
