JetPilot goes big at Motorcycle, Scooter and Jet-ski Expo
Action Sports brand JetPilot has thrown its full weight behind next week’s Australian Motorcycle, Scooter and Jet-ski Expo at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (February 17-19).
With its Asia Pacific base just a short drive from the venue, the brand has invested heavily in its core moto and watersports markets.
JetPilot will make a splash as it takes naming sponsorship of the JetPilot Water Zone where a host of exciting freestyle jet-ski demonstrations will take place.
Headlining the performances are 2010 World Freestyle Champion Lee Stone from the United Kingdom, and local talent Jon ‘Wire’ Cooke.
Stone and Cooke will showcase the best moves in their stand-up ski arsenal at up to 3 shows daily. Stone will also take part in a world-record attempt during Sunday’s performances.
JetPilot is also a major sponsor of the Monster Energy Showtime FMX team, Australia’s longest-running action sports outfit.
Kick-starting a busy schedule of shows across the country, riders Kain Saul, Brad Burch and Matty McFerran will put on a series of demo’s to show off FMX’s most popular and progressive moves.
JetPilot is behind the efforts of the popular Brown’s Grafix Mini Moto team, who show that just 50cc of mini bike power is enough to put on a spectacular show.
Visitors will have the chance to meet and greet with JetPilot’s athletes at its exhibition stand.
JetPilot’s Darren Attard said the event was a perfect fit for the brand.
“The consumer base of the Expo loves everything with a motor and our brand has been driven by this concept for over 25 years,” said Attard.
“The Gold Coast offers a great lifestyle for all the sports we back and believe in.
“We have been heavily involved with Showtime FMX, Wire Watercraft Riding and the Brown’s Grafix Mini Moto show for a long time and they are all at the top level of their fields.
“The crowd is going to be pumped on what they see!”
Visitors can pick up show-only specials on JetPilot gear and apparel at the clearance sale which will run throughout the Expo.
20,000 visitors are expected to attend the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre’s largest consumer exhibition.
