Sydney International Boat Show Thu 28 July thru Mon 1 Aug 2016
The Sydney International Boat Show is the largest recreational marine event in the southern hemisphere.
It first ran in 1968 and since then has played host to over three million visitors who arrive to be entertained, educated, speak to the experts, and to be inspired by this wonderful pastime enjoyed by millions each year.
Owned and organised by the Boating Industry Association (BIA), the industry’s peak body, the Sydney International Boat Show has consistently delivered an excellent balance of products to meet the needs of both experienced boaters together with an abundance of education to help new people entering recreational boating. The event has become the annual pilgrimage for those regularly on the water, or a must visit location for those wanting to do so.
Staged annually since 1968, it stands unchallenged as the largest and most important recreational boating exhibition in the region. A member of the prestigious International Federation of Boat Show Organisers (IFBSO) the BIA has been responsible for the grand exhibition since it began 48 years ago
